How to Apply to the Guild:
- First, begin by visiting our forums and registering to the forums with your main's character name as your username. Please do not use the same password as your World of Warcraft password.
- Next, you want to visit your e-mail that you used to register. You must validate your account through the e-mail sent to you. Otherwise, you will not be able to apply or ...do anything on the forums, really.
- Your next step is to read the How to Apply thread on the forums and this will direct you on to how to actually, physically apply to the guild.
- Once you've filled out the information on the application template, you are NOT done!
- Copy the BBCode that you will have printed to you once you submit your application. You will need this for a step ahead.
- Your next step is to create a new topic, title it as "Application - NAME" (replacing NAME with your character's name), and do not add a topic description.
- Now, in your actual, physical post, paste the BBCode that you were presented with a second ago after submitting your application.
- The only thing left for you to do is simply hit the button to Post New Topic, and you're done!
- Now, just sit tight and let the Officers of the guild take care of the rest.
With all of this in mind, there are a few complications that may occur. If at any time you are confused as to how to work the system, please contact Wraïne or Koori via an ingame message. They can help you with your issues; however, please do a /WHO before you message them as to prevent contacting them when they're raiding. In such a case, just wait patiently.
Things to do Whilst Waiting:
- Either before or after applying to the guild, you will want to make sure that your WoWArmory information is up to date. If not, make sure to log out with your BEST gear on, that you always use. If you're a DPS with a 245 tanking weapon that's just a higher item level than your other weapons, we will notice such screw ups and it will count against you.
- Another required task is that you should definitely think about gemming and enchanting your gear with the Best in Slot (BiS) gems/enchants. If you're using green-level gems, you will be overlooked. If you're using blue-level gems, you will not be looked upon with much respect. Always strive for the best -- keep that in mind.
- Beyond all of that, try and follow up with your application by perchance messaging an Officer or the Guild Leader after applying. DO NOT message a Member or Veteran level player, they cannot help you.
Common Issues When Applying
- For the most part, almost every applicant somehow manages to ruin the system that we have set up. What I mean by this is that they find some way to screw up the list of applying, as listed before.
- Please make sure to always double check your e-mail in order to finalize your validation. Officers hate having to do this for someone because they are possibly too stupid to figure it out themselves.
- Always double check that you spelt everything with the best accuracy possible. If you spell your character's name wrong...seriously, you fail, and we will not be able to process your application.
- Please do not title your application oddly (e.g. "Somebody's Application" or "Human Paladin's Application - Somebody"), just follow the same rules as everyone else!
- Also, do not add a description to your application. This means, do not add ANYTHING.
